Spicy Braised Mackerel
고등어 고추장 조림

Ingredients :
*1Tablespoon = 15g / 1Teaspoon = 5g / 1Cup = 200g
Water : 200g
Mackerel filet : 100g(1/2ea)
Potato : 100g(1/2medium size)
Onion : 100g(1/2medium size)
Kelp : 10cm x 10cm
Red pepper paste : 1tablespoon
Soy sauce : 2tablespoons
Cooking wine : 2tablespoons
Minced garlic : 1tablespoon
How to Make it :
It is easier if you use just filet of the mackerel.
Peel off the skin of the potato and slice to about 0.5cm thick.
Peel off the skin of the onion and shred it.
At the bottom of the pot, lay the kelp and put the mackerel and sliced potatoes on top of the kelp.
Create a mix sauce with the red pepper paste, soy sauce, cooking wine, minced garlic and water. Then poor it over the mackerel and sliced potatoes.
Spread the shreded onion on top and start boiling.
As soon as it start to boil, turn the heat to medium heat and start reducing until the potato is cooked.
